LMK EyeFit lenses

LMK 6
Features
Imaging with the LMK using specially adapted lenses offers an effective and efficient alternative for metrological characterization of near-eye display (NED) systems.
When you use a NED system, you only perceive the entire image field if your eyes are within the so-called eye-box of the NED system. For each eye, the eye-box corresponds to a 3-dimensional space around the respective exit pupil of the optical system.
Often the diameter of the NED exit pupil is larger than in conventional optical instruments (e.g., microscopes) and the distance to the last optical surface (eye-relief) is relatively small.

LMK EyeFit is a NED lens design approach created in 2023 by TechnoTeam. This innovative lens design features a front-stop aperture with calibrated external entrance pupil diameters ranging from 2 mm to 6 mm — just like our classical NED lenses.
It also provides additional advantages to increase simplicity, flexibility and reproducibility for AR/VR/MR metrology:

The EyeFit has a unique focus mechanism — ensuring the entrance pupil position is not shifted when focusing

The lens focus range covers the complete focus range of the human eye

The mechanical dimension of the EyeFit ensures simple and collision-free alignment (including the realization of eye rotation movements)

The Eyefit offers a diffraction-limited MTF

The TTNED 17, expected to be released this year,

will better meet the current mainstream AR measurement needs in terms of field of view.
